(where you received your CERT training)

Class Details:

This training equips CERT responders with the skills necessary for providing emotional support to disaster survivors.  Psychological First Aid is an aid, developed by NCPTSD (National Center for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and NCTSN (National Child Traumatic Stress Network), for responders allowing them to assist survivors in maintaining adaptive functioning during or following a disaster.  The interactive course covers the core actions of Psychological First Aid and provides education on emotional reactions associated with a disaster.  

On completion you will be awarded a nationally recognized certificate for basic Psychological First Aid

Instructor Information:   

This course will be taught trainers who have been specifically trained in Psychological First Aid.
